My journey in Arts and Design began in 2004, during my Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture and Design from Bangalore University. That same year, I discovered the beauty of Calligraphy under a tutor who had trained in London. I began applying Calligraphy to my hand-drawn architectural sheets—transforming simple drawings into artistic, professional presentations.

In 2005, I was invited to be an assistant tutor for my teacher’s group classes and workshops. The experience was unforgettable—my very first teaching role turned out to be a success, earning recognition in newspapers and on the radio. That was the moment I realized my true passion: sharing knowledge and inspiring creativity through Calligraphy and the Arts.

Since 2005, I’ve conducted a wide range of classes and workshops in both India and the USA. These included 1-point and 2-point perspective drawing, rendering, design graphics, and, of course, Calligraphy—with over 250 students of all age groups trained in India, and more than 40 students in the USA (Naperville and Aurora).

Through these years, I’ve seen how Calligraphy is not just an art—it’s a skill anyone can learn. With nothing more than a pen and paper, you can create something timeless, artistic, and deeply personal.

Hash Expressions offers a wide range of creative classes and workshops for students of all ages and backgrounds. Whether you want to explore your creative side, learn a new skill, or simply have fun, our programs provide pathways to achieve your artistic goals. We specialize in Calligraphy classes for ages 8 and above, offered online in both live and recorded formats, with weekly or biweekly sessions and easy-to-follow assignments.
